Dating and Children

I haven't been able to write or do much in the last couple of weeks due to other obligations and doctor visits. I haven't posted in a few days but today I came across a blog that a lady had written about dating a gentleman that she met online.Something came to my mind that I had to comment on. The lady thought that everything was going fine until the man quit communicating with her because she told him that she had a fairly young child. Due to her age, the man thought that if she had children they would be almost grown.

The followup comment that I wanted make with regards to partners and children is that you may want to see what kind of situation that their grown children are in. After I remarried, I ended up with 2 of my wifes young grandchildren in the home and their mother is living elsewhere. This was not exactly what I had planned for my retirement years. Now I am wondering now if I will ever get there.
